Graphics are more than a hobby to me. Rather, they are a way to satisfy an artistic creative urge that has been lacking in my life. I am not an artist and have trouble drawing a straight line. But inside there has been the desire to produce pictures of beauty that people could enjoy.
The development of the computer graphics programs has allowed me to do things that the lack of artistic talent has in the past prevented. How is this possible without the talents of a true artist? Well what you will see on these pages are what is  known as "image manipulation". Simply put, it is taking parts of several pictures and combining them into a new concept. Once you learn to use the various tools of the graphics program the possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
For the beginner the cost is quite minimal. You can get older versions of the best programs for $12-$20 on the Ebay auctions. There are no paints, no brushes, no canvasses, no chemicals etc. to buy. You install the graphics program and you are set to start your creative learning experience.
It is my hope that thru these pages I can help others to gain the joy and satisfaction that comes with being able to produce something beautiful for others to enjoy. You make take for your own any of the works you see here for your own enjoyment but you cannot use them commercially as many of the components are from the copywrited works of the original artists.

As we go on this journey together, feel free to ask any questions  as to "how-to"....sources.... links to graphic material etc. I do not know all the answers but in most instances I will be able to direct you to a site where you can gain the information you need. If you are an artist whose copywrited material I have used without permission or giving credit please advise me and I will be happy to give credit or remove the pictures. I do respect the talents of the various artists  and their right to their endeavors.
Now let's see what is going on.......
